how we met
trixie was visiting new york city on a girls trip from la (back when you could still get a $250 round trip ticket). justin had just returned from a solo trip to scotland meeting distant relatives for the first time. friends brought them to no name bar where trixie had to introduce herself because justin was too shy.

after that spark, they embarked on a long distance relationship which began on july 4, 2013 in the hippie mountain town of idyllwild, california (just above palm springs). they consider that four day trip to be their first date.
18 months later, trixie decided to move to new york city so they could start a life together. (even though justin wanted to move to la instead).
after only 11 short happy years together, justin formally proposed to trixie to be her husband on the waterfront in greenpoint, brooklyn, the neighborhood where they met, live, and fell in love.
